YouTube TV had made another change to its pricing for new subscribers, with the latest promotion offering an $8 monthly discount on the first four months of a subscription.

The new deal takes the cost of the YouTube TV base live TV package down to $64.99 a month. Following the first four discounted months, the subscription will auto-renew at the usual $72.99 a month rate.

Save $32 over four months

At the start of the month, YouTube TV was still offering a $15 monthly discount on the first three months, resulting in a total saving of $45. However, that promotion came to an end a couple of weeks ago and was replaced with a $10 monthly discount on the first three months, resulting in a total saving of $30.

Even though the latest $8 a month discount is less than the previous $10 and $15 monthly discounts, new subscribers can save on each of the first four months, one month longer than the previous deals.

With the latest offer also resulting in a total saving of $32 over four months, it is technically a greater saving than the $30 over three months discount that was available last week.

One of the additional benefits of YouTube TV’s new subscriber offers is that they don’t affect the availability of a free trial. As a result, all new subscribers can still test out YouTube TV for free before signing up.

YouTube TV typically offers a 7-day free trial to new subscribers, but the length can vary between accounts, so some may find they get shorter or longer. Streaming Better can confirm the availability of a 10-day free trial is currently available for some new accounts.
