YouTube TV is offering Sunday Ticket subscribers the option to redeem four free months of Max just for subscribing to the NFL subscription.
Last month, Alphabet confirmed that it had been working with Warner Bros. Discovery to offer a Max-Sunday Ticket bundle. While details on that bundle for new customers are still unknown, existing Sunday Ticket subscribers are starting to reap the benefits of the partnership.
Over the last 24 hours, YouTube TV has started offering four months of Max for free to existing Sunday Ticket subscribers. The free subscription is being offered through email and can be redeemed through the YouTube TV website by adding Max within the Membership settings section.
With Max through YouTube TV currently costing $15.99 a month, this freebie is equivalent to more than $60 in savings over the course of the full four months.
For those thinking of taking YouTube up on the offer, it is worth keeping in mind that the free Max subscription does automatically convert to a paid subscription at the end of the fourth free month. If not canceled before then, subscribers will automatically begin being charged $15.99 a month for Max.
The offer also seems to exclude any current Max subscribers, or those that have been a Max subscriber within the past 90 days.
At present, this offer only seems to be available to YouTube TV subscribers (not Primetime Channels Sunday Ticket subscribers) and those that have already purchased a Sunday Ticket subscription through the live TV service.
The current price of Sunday Ticket through YouTube TV is $349, or $389 when bundling NFL RedZone. Right now, however, YouTube TV is offering a $50 discount on the cost, bringing the price down to $299, or $339 with RedZone.
If a Frontier, Verizon, or Xfinity customer, or if you’re planning on buying a new TCL TV soon, then you may also qualify for a discount on the cost of an NFL Sunday Ticket subscription through YouTube.
