YouTube TV has dropped in price once again. With a subscription now available for as little as $50.99 a month for the first three months, this is the third month in a row that YouTube has lowered the price of its base plan.
Following the price increase in March of this year, the standard cost of the YouTube TV base rose to $72.99 a month. By September, YouTube TV had started offering a deal that reduced the cost down to $55 a month, an $18 monthly saving.
In October, YouTube TV lowered the price again. This time the price dropped to $53 a month, resulting in a straight $20 saving each month. With November now here, the price has dropped once more, marking the third price drop in the last three months.
Following the latest price drop, new subscribers can sign up at $50.99 a month for the first three months. At the current price, new YouTube TV subscribers are saving $22 a month, and $66 over the course of the first three months.
As was the case with the two previous price drops, those signing up are also able to take advantage of a free trial. In fact, YouTube TV is currently offering a 21-day free trial to new subscribers, which is two weeks longer than the standard 7-day trial that’s usually available.
All of which means, YouTube TV is now offering almost four months of live TV for just $152.97. Considering the cost of other live TV streaming services, this is a pretty good deal, and especially for those looking for a live TV package to cover them through the Holidays and the New Year.
The latest price drop went into effect yesterday (Nov. 1) and is due to remain available through January 2, 2024. While this does mean you could wait until December to see if YouTube TV makes it four price drops in as many months, we’re not so sure the price will drop any further.
As a reminder, YouTube has also now lowered the cost of NFL Sunday Ticket, making it possible for YouTube TV subscribers to add Sunday Ticket for as little as $174 for the remainder of this season.
