YouTube TV members can now subscribe and watch coverage from the Women’s National Basketball Association, thanks to the addition of the WNBA League Pass premium add-on.
YouTube TV already offers a number of premium add-ons for subscribers to choose from, all of which add to the monthly cost of a live TV subscription. Some of these add-ons are also available to purchase without being signed up to the live TV plan.
The latest add-on to arrive on YouTube TV is the WNBA League Pass, and this is one of those you can sign up to with or without the base live TV plan. The WNBA League Pass add-on costs $7.99 per month when purchased through YouTube TV, and unlike most of the other add-ons, there doesn’t currently seem to be a free trial available.
With a WNBA League Pass subscription, YouTube TV members will be able to watch live out-of-market games and catch up on all games on-demand. If planning to share a subscription, WNBA League Pass can be streamed on up to five (home) devices at the same time.
It is worth noting that the WNBA League Pass add-on is not only now live on YouTube TV, but also on YouTube Primetime Channels as well, providing those without a YouTube TV plan the option to sign up to WNBA League Pass as a standalone subscription.
If opting to subscribe through YouTube Primetime Channels, there’s the option to pay $24.99 for the full season in addition to the same $7.99 monthly plan as YouTube TV.
Regardless of whether signing up through YouTube TV or YouTube Primetime Channels, the WNBA season will tip-off this Friday (May 19) when the Connecticut Sun take on the Indiana Fever and the New York Liberty host the Washington Mystics.
