DirecTV, DirecTV via Internet, and DirecTV Stream subscribers will soon have the option of adding Willow TV to their existing package, and just in time for the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023.

Willow TV advertises itself as the premier broadcaster of cricket in the United States and Canada, with its 24/7 channel solely dedicated to cricket coverage, including live matches.

The channel is available through a number of live TV providers, and DirecTV and DirecTV Stream are now in the process of being added to that list. Thanks to the new agreement, Willow TV will be available through DirecTV and DirecTV Stream’s Sports Pack add-ons starting from October 3.

This is just ahead of the October 5th start of the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023 in India, when England take on New Zealand in the opening match at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.

We have always believed strongly in the unique passion and loyalty that sports fans experience with their favorite players, teams, and competitions,” said Rob Thun, chief content officer at DirecTV. “The addition of Willow TV to DirecTV Sports Pack is a great example of how we can provide more options for customers to choose the programming they value.”

For those that do opt to add Sports Pack to their existing live TV package, the add-on costs an additional $14.99 a month, and unlocks access to a variety of live professional and college sports channels, including NFL RedZone.

Once added to an existing live TV plan, DirecTV, DirecTV via Internet and DirecTV Stream subscribers will find Willow TV on channel 625. In addition, DirecTV via Internet and DirecTV Stream subscribers can also access the company’s secondary cricket channel, Willow Xtra, on channel 626.

According to the announcement, DirecTV for Business will also be offering Willow TV to commercial venues, including sports bars, restaurants, and hotels.
