MLB.TV is free all weekend. Thanks to a Mother’s Day free preview, it is possible to watch every game for free through Sunday. The only exception here is Sunday’s game between the Atlanta Braves and New York Mets, which is due to be shown live on ESPN. As this is an out-of-market subscription, blackouts will also still apply for select in-market games.
Still, for those looking to catch some baseball action this weekend, this is a good way to stream most MLB games for free.
One of the additional benefits of an MLB.TV free preview is that there is no need to add a payment method. While you will still need an MLB.com account to access the free preview, it is completely free to set one up.
For those that would like to maintain access once this Mother’s Day free preview comes to an end, MLB.TV offers an ‘All Teams’ subscription for $139.99 a year and a ‘Single Team’ subscription for $119.99 a year. If you would prefer to pay on a monthly basis, the ‘All Teams’ subscription currently costs $29.99 each month.
As a reminder, an MLB.TV subscription unlocks access to every out-of-market game, as well as select pregame and postgame shows. In addition, MLB.TV subscribers also get access to a large on-demand library and MLB Big Inning.
