If you want to watch the 29th MLS season, then it is time to sign up for MLS Season Pass on Apple TV. The new season kicks off February 21 and marks the second year of Apple’s tenure as the streaming home of MLS.
“The first year of our partnership with Major League Soccer exceeded expectations and brought MLS to more fans than ever before,” said Eddy Cue, Apple’s senior vice president of Services. “We look forward to building upon that momentum, celebrating Messi’s first full season with the league, and delivering MLS fans the best experience possible.”
The good news is that Apple has opted to keep the prices the same as last year, which means no price increases. In other words, MLS Season Pass costs $14.99 a month or $99 a season. Also similar to last year, Apple is offering a discount to Apple TV+ subscribers. Basically, Apple TV+ subscribers can sign up to MLS Season Pass at $12.99 per month or $79 per season.
While the MLS season won’t kick off until the final week of February, MLS Season Pass subscribers will be able to tune in and watch a variety of preseason matches over the coming weeks, including the Feb. 15 matchup between Inter Miami and Newell’s Old Boys, which sees Lionel Messi’s current club take on Messi’s childhood club.
When the new season does kick-off, the opener sees reigning Leagues Cup champions Inter Miami CF hosting Real Salt Lake on Wednesday, Feb. 21 at 8 p.m. ET. The opening weekend will then see another 14 matches taking place across Feb. 24 and Feb. 25, including LA Galaxy hosting Inter Miami on Sunday.
For those totally new to MLS Season Pass, the subscription service is available to soccer fans in more than 100 countries and regions. Subscribers get access to every MLS game with no blackouts, in-depth coverage and analysis, and even exclusive content.
