Verizon is offering a free NFL Sunday Ticket subscription for the 2024-2025 season to eligible customers through YouTube and YouTube TV. Depending on the service, the promotion results in a saving of up to $449 a year.

While primarily aimed at new customers, existing Verizon customers can also get a free subscription by upgrading their existing mobile or Home Internet service.

Here’s how the promotion works and everything you need to know before signing up or making any changes to your existing service.

How To Get Free NFL Sunday Ticket — New Customers

New Verizon customers can get free NFL Sunday Ticket by signing up to either an Unlimited Plus or Unlimited Ultimate plan and purchasing one of the following smartphones.

• Apple iPhone 15
• Apple iPhone 15 Plus
• Apple iPhone 15 Pro
• Apple iPhone 15 Pro Max
• Google Pixel 8
• Google Pixel 8 Pro
• Google Pixel Fold
• Samsung Galaxy S24
• Samsung Galaxy S24+
• Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra
• Samsung Galaxy Z Flip6
• Samsung Galaxy Z Fold6

Alternatively, new customers can sign up to one of the following Verizon Home Internet plans to get an NFL Sunday Ticket subscription.

• 5G Home Plus
• LTE Home Plus
• Fios 1 Gig
• Fios 2 Gig

How To Get Free NFL Sunday Ticket — Existing Customers

Existing Verizon customers need to upgrade their mobile or Home Internet service to get their hands on a free NFL Sunday Ticket subscription.

If an existing mobile customer, Verizon requires the addition of a new Unlimited Plus or Unlimited Ultimate line along with the purchase of one of the following smartphones.

It is also possible to simply upgrade an existing device on Unlimited Plus or Unlimited but Apple devices are excluded from the NFL Sunday Ticket promotion when not adding a new line.

If an existing Home Internet customer, Verizon requires the existing Verizon Home Internet plan to be upgraded to either 5G Home Plus or LTE Home Plus.

You Must Stay Subscribed To Keep Sunday Ticket

For those that do sign up for an eligible service or upgrade, Verizon requires the free NFL Sunday Ticket subscription to be redeemed within 60 days of receiving the redemption notice and no later than December 10, 2024.

One of the additional caveats to be aware of is that Verizon requires eligible mobile and Home internet customers to remain subscribed to their new Verizon service throughout the NFL season to maintain access to their free subscription.

In fact, Verizon may actually charge the full $449 value of NFL Sunday Ticket under the following conditions:

• Service canceled before 2/28/25
• No longer meet eligibility requirements
• Change to an ineligible plan
• Return the eligible phone purchase

Lastly, if you have already signed up to NFL Sunday Ticket, either through YouTube or YouTube TV, you cannot take advantage of this offer, as this promotion cannot be combined with an existing NFL Sunday Ticket subscription.

save $100 On NFL Sunday Ticket Instead

If ineligible for the free Sunday Ticket subscription, and not interested in upgrading to meet the eligibility requirements, it is still possible for Verizon customers to save $100 on a subscription.

Considering NFL Sunday Ticket through YouTube Primetime Channels costs $449 a season, Verizon’s promotion lowers the cost down to $349. Alternatively, Verizon customers can save $100 on NFL Sunday Ticket + NFL RedZone, bringing the cost down to $389 for the season.

Verizon customers can get their $100 discount directly through +play. It is worth noting that NFL Sunday Ticket subscription purchases cannot be canceled after activation and are non-refundable.

Don’t Have Verizon?

Regardless of whether a Verizon customer, NFL Sunday Ticket can be purchased as a standalone YouTube Primetime Channel for $449 a season.

Alternatively, the subscription can be purchased as a YouTube TV add-on. If going the YouTube TV route, subscribers save $100 on the cost, bringing the price down to $349.

YouTube also offers a student version of Sunday Ticket. Priced at $199 a season, the NFL Sunday Ticket Student Plan is a good way for eligible students to save on a subscription.
