Walmart+, which includes access to the Paramount+ Essential plan, is currently on sale for just $49 for a year. This is half the usual cost and could be a good way to save on the streaming service while also benefiting from the additional perks included with a membership.
Walmart+ normally costs $99 a year and unlocks access to a host of benefits, including free delivery from the subscriber’s local store, free shipping with no order minimum, early access to deals, and savings on fuel. This is all in addition to access to the latest movies and shows on Paramount Plus.
Considering the Paramount+ Essential annual plan costs $59.99 a year, signing up to Walmart+ at the currently discounted rate results in a saving of $10. Not to mention, subscribers get access to all of the benefits mentioned above. While this is not the first time that Walmart has lowered the price of its membership program to this level, it is a deal that doesn’t come around too many times each year.
For reference, Paramount+ is not the only streaming benefit on offer. Earlier this month, Walmart added the option for Walmart+ subscribers to get a free 6-month Tastemade+ subscription, unlocking ad-free access to food and lifestyle shows, recipes, and more.
Adding to this, Walmart+ members can also currently get 2 months of Hallmark Movies Now for just $2 a month. Considering a monthly Hallmark Movies Now subscription typically costs $5.99 a month, this is an additional $4 monthly saving for the first two months.
For those tempted to sign up, the half-price Walmart+ offer expires on November 8, 2023. It is also worth noting that the annual subscription will auto-renew next year at the usual, higher cost, unless canceled before the renewal date.
