Vizio is celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month with the launch of a new Home screen collection that’s designed to make it easier to find free and premium multicultural programming content to watch.

It’s already been a busy month for Vizio. Earlier in September, Vizio added a football-themed collection to celebrate the start of the new season. Soon after, M/LUX launched on Vizio’s free WatchFree+ streaming service.

With National Hispanic Heritage Month now officially set to begin on September 15, Vizio’s Hispanic Heritage Month Collection offers Home screen access to a selection of curated programming and services.

We are excited to offer a collection of premium, multicultural content to VIZIO users in celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month,” said Katherine Pond, Group Vice President of Platform Content and Partnerships at VIZIO. “Through our extensive network of content partners and data-driven approach to programming, this curated collection provides the best in premium entertainment honoring the rich stories, experiences, and creativity of Hispanic and Latino voices.

As to what Vizio TV users can expect, the new collection will highlight a WatchFree+ On Demand experience that offers access to more than 165 hours of English and Spanish-language titles, including The Rising: Pelé, My Name is Lopez, Model Latina, Mario Lopez: One On One, and Love at Mariposa Beach.

Vizio smart TV owners can also expect to see ViX highlighted in the Home screen collection. ViX is a standalone streaming service that offers access to more than 75,000 hours of Spanish programming. Unlike WatchFree+, Vix is not free and does require a $6.99 a month subscription.

What is free, however, is Vizio’s new pop-up channel. Celebrating Hispanic Heritage can also be accessed directly through the WatchFree+ app and provides access to English and Spanish-language TV shows, movies, and exclusive content.

Some of the titles available to watch on the Celebrating Hispanic Heritage pop-up channel include The Latin Kitchen, Exploring Mexico’s Kitchen with Rick Bayless, The Maldonado Miracle, Gotham Comedy Live, Carlos Oscar: Life Is Crazy Good, Cheech Marin and Friends, and My Name Is Lopez.

Spy Kids: All The Time In The World will also be available to stream on the channel between October 1st and December 31st.
