Vidgo Increased Prices Again, And This Time It’s Not Just The Plus Plan

Vidgo has increased the price of its Plus and Premium live TV packages with the cheapest now costing a minimum of $69.99 per month. This is actually the second time that the live TV service has increased its prices in 2023.

Earlier in the year, Vidgo increased the price of its cheapest Plus plan by $5 taking the cost up from $59.95 to $64.99 per month. While the other Vidgo plans were unaffected by the price change, that’s not quite the case this time around with the Premium plan having also now gone up in price.

In what appears to be another quiet price increase, Vidgo has raised the price of its cheapest Plus plan by another $5, this time taking the cost up from $64.95 to $69.99 per month. The Premium plan has been subjected to the same $5 price rise, increasing the monthly cost to $84.99 per month.

Both of the price increases are already in effect for anyone attempting to sign up through the Vidgo website. While it currently remains unclear when exactly the price changed, Vidgo was advertising the lower monthly subscription costs as recently as last week.

As Vidgo has yet to formerly announce the price increase, it is also currently unclear whether existing subscribers are impacted, and if so, when exactly they can expect to begin paying the higher rate.

For reference, Vidgo’s two other live TV packages, Ultimate and Vidgo Mas, do not appear to have been impacted by this latest price increase.

At the new price, Vidgo’s Plus plan now costs exactly the same as Hulu Live TV. However, it does remain $2 cheaper than YouTube TV (following its recent price increase) and $5 cheaper than the cheapest plans from DirecTV Stream and fubo – both of which already implemented price increases in 2023.

At $84.99 per month, Vidgo’s Premium plan now goes toe to toe with fubo’s Elite package on price.
