Vidgo Live TV Streaming Now Even Cheaper with Plans Starting at $29.99

John Finn Avatar

Vidgo has reduced the price of its plans, offering an even lower priced live TV streaming service than usual for a limited time. This is just one example of how streaming services have made changes to help consumers during the coronavirus outbreak.

With the coronavirus crisis resulting in more people staying home, online services have become more important and in demand than ever before. This also includes streaming services and especially with access to news now a priority for many. While local news can be accessed for free, paid-for news can become costly and at a time when many people are unsure of what the future holds for them and their income.

Vidgo is now looking to lighten the financial burden on consumers by offering its main live TV package for just $29.99. This is $10 off its usual price considering the plan typically costs $39.99 per month. While not a massive saving, it is a saving nonetheless. Vidgo says the promotional pricing will remain in effect until June 30, 2020.

Vidgo’s live TV now even cheaper

Ever since Vidgo launched its new live TV plan, it was positioned as a competitively-priced solution. At $39.99, it was cheaper than most of the other major live TV streaming services available, and at $29.99 it now offers even more value, although it is not without its compromises.

Compared to other live TV streaming services, Vidgo is not the richest in features. For example, it currently lacks a cloud DVR option which is likely to be a deal-breaker for many. Still, if all you primarily want is access to live TV then Vidgo might be enough. Especially considering it also comes with all ESPN and Fox channels.

For reference, the $29.99 package is the “Core” plan. The service also offers a “Plus” plan which comes with an improved channel lineup. The Plus plan normally costs $49.99 per month and comes with a channel selection better suited to those looking for a more robust package. While at $49.99 per month, the Plus plan is more comparable to the other main live TV streaming services, it is also now seeing a $10 price drop as well. Up until June 30, the Plus plan is available for $39.99 per month – the price the Core plan usually costs.

Vidgo also offers a couple of Spanish plans as well, and both of these have seen similar price drops. The “Latino” plan is reduced down from $14.99 per month to $9.99, while the “Latino Mas” plan has dropped from $24.99 to $19.99 per month.
