Verizon has launched a new promotion that allows mobile and Home Internet customers to sign up for one year of Peacock Premium and get a full year of Netflix Premium for free. Considering Netflix Premium is the more expensive subscription, this is a pretty good offer.
The timing of the new bundle is interesting considering Peacock increased the price of its plans today. Following the latest price increase, anyone signing up for the annual Premium plan will now pay $79.99 a year, up from the previous $59.99 yearly cost.
Although Peacock is now $20 more expensive, Verizon’s bundle makes it possible to get a year of both Peacock Premium and Netflix Premium for the same $79.99. With a year’s worth of Netflix Premium typically costing $275.88, this is a huge saving on the cost of paying for both services separately for a full year.
As is the case with all of Verizon’s streaming bundles and offers, the new Peacock and Netflix bundle is now available through +play. Once signed up through +play, bundle subscribers will be able to sign in and access the Peacock and Netflix apps on all their preferred devices.
Also similar to other Verizon streaming offers, myPlan and myHome customers can user their +play $10 monthly perk to lower the cost of this Peacock and Netflix bundle even further.
As a reminder, Peacock Premium is an ad-supported plan and doesn’t come with access to a subscriber’s local NBC channel. In contrast, Netflix Premium removes the ads and adds the ability to watch on up to four devices at the same time. This is also in addition to unlocking support for 4K Ultra HD and spatial audio.
