Tennis Channel’s T2 is now available through The Roku Channel. The new addition provides tennis fans with another way to access the free, ad-supported streaming television (FAST) channel.

While the standard Tennis Channel tends to require a home to have access to a supported paid live TV service, T2 is the Tennis Channel’s second network, and is typically available to watch for free through a variety of services.

Thanks to a new deal between Tennis Channel and Roku, The Roku Channel has now been added to that list. Furthermore, as the channel has already gone live, Roku users can access it immediately either through The Roku Channel app or through the Sports Experience on Roku’s Home screen.

With the availability of the T2 channel, Roku users now have year-round access to live, daily coverage of the sport’s best players and signature events.

We’re thrilled to give millions of streamers 24/7 access to T2’s robust lineup of live tennis events and original programming,” said Joe Franzetta, head of sports, Roku Media. “The launch of T2 will give our audiences a courtside seat at the top tournaments with the best players in the game for free. We look forward to harnessing the reach and scale of The Roku Channel, as well as the integrated viewing experiences only found on the Roku platform, to help more audiences discover the thrill of T2’s standout sports programming.”

Even though the level of coverage of live events is not as comprehensive as with the standard Tennis Channel, T2 still acts as a good and useful gateway for those that don’t have access to the main channel.

Not to mention, those with access to the main Tennis Channel through a live TV package now suddenly have access to even more tennis content and related programming than before.
