T-Mobile has confirmed that its customers will once again have the option to get a free MLB.TV subscription. While T-Mobile tends to offer a few streaming deals each year, free MLB.TV tends to be one of the more popular options.
This year, it is likely to be even more popular than usual. Earlier in 2023, YouTube TV officially dropped MLB Network from its lineup. This also resulted in the loss of the MLB.TV add-on as well. With the cost of a standalone subscription having risen by $10, and YouTube TV subscribers having lost access to the add-on, getting MLB.TV for free is more of a deal than ever.
While it was previously unclear whether T-Mobile planned to offer the deal again this year, that’s now changed. The T-Mobile website was recently updated to confirm that T-Mobile customers will be able to score free MLB.TV for the entire 2023 season, saving $150 in the process.
Those interested in getting free MLB.TV will need to redeem the offer through the T-Mobile Tuesdays app, similar to the free MLS Season Pass that’s been available over the past month. The MLB offer is due to go live at 5:00 a.m. ET on Tuesday, March 28 and will need to be redeemed by 4:59 a.m. ET on April 4, 2023.
For those wondering, T-Mobile’s ‘Get MLB.TV for FREE’ promotion is not only open to eligible T-Mobile wireless customers, but also Sprint and Metro by T-Mobile customers on qualifying plans. Regardless of which plan you are signed up to, you will need to download the T-Mobile Tuesdays app to redeem the free MLB.TV subscription.
