Sony TV owners can now try Vidgo for free for 30 days thanks to a new partnership between the TV-maker and the live TV service. Even though this promotion is primarily aimed at those purchasing a new Sony TV, existing TV owners can also get in on the action.
Vidgo is one of the few live TV streaming services that currently doesn’t offer a free trial. So while it is possible to test out DirecTV Stream, YouTube TV, and even Sling TV before paying, those signing up to Vidgo tend to have to pay for the first month in full to see if the live TV service is right for them.
Sony TV owners, however, now have the option of signing up and watching for free for the first 30 days. According to the announcement, Vidgo is now offering “all new and existing Sony TV users across the country a free 30-day trial to its Vidgo Premium package.”
Considering the Premium package typically costs a minimum of $79.95 per month, that’s how much Sony TV owners can now save.
New and existing Sony TV owners should be able to find the offer promoted on the smart TV’s home screen. If it is not there, the 30-day Vidgo free trial can also be found and activated by navigating to the Bonus Offers section of the My Bravia app. According to the app, the extended free trial is available through July 31, 2023.
For reference, Vidgo’s Premium package unlocks access to more than 150 channels. For those wanting a richer experience, there is the option to add a selection of Spanish-language channels by upgrading to the $99.95 per month Ultimate plan. Alternatively, for those looking to save on the cost, there’s the option to downgrade to the $64.95 per month Plus plan.
