Sling TV Subscribers Can Watch IFC Films Unlimited For Free This Weekend

IFC Films Unlimited

Sling TV subscribers can access IFC Films Unlimited for free this weekend. This is a subscription that Sling TV subscribers typically have to pay for on top of their base plan, making this weekend’s free preview worth taking advantage of. What’s more, subscribers don’t have to do anything to watch for free with the channel being automatically made available.

Over the past few weeks, Sling TV has been opening up access to a variety of different premium networks as part of its ongoing Freeview Weekends campaign. For example, last weekend unlocked both PlayKids and beIN Sports, and this was following the preview weekend where ViX Plus And Acorn TV were both made available.

The same courtesy is now being extended to IFC Films Unlimited over this weekend. Beginning Friday, Aug. 12 and continuing through Sunday, Aug. 14, Sling Orange and Sling Blue, as well as Sling Orange & Blue, and those subscribed to an international plan, can watch IFC Films Unlimited for free. During this free preview, there’s no limit on how much IFC Films Unlimited content can be watched.

Once the free weekend has come to an end, those interested in having access to IFC Films Unlimited can actually add it to their main package through the Sling TV website. The IFC Films Unlimited channel can be added to most plans at an additional cost of $6 per month. Alternatively, Sling Blue and Sling Orange subscribers can also add the AMC+ add-on to their plan. This add-on costs an additional $7.99 per month and not only unlocks access to AMC Plus, but also Shudder, Sundance Now, and IFC Films Unlimited.

Of course, for subscribers that don’t particularly see any value in having access to IFC Films Unlimited, there’s nothing they’ll need to do. Once the free preview comes to an end, IFC Films Unlimited will automatically be locked again. In the meantime, Sling TV subscribers can tune in to the premium network as often as they like over this weekend.
