Sling TV Issue Stopping Subscribers From Signing In [Fixed]

Sling TV is currently experiencing a technical issue which appears to be stopping subscribers from signing in and accessing the service. It currently remains to be seen what is causing the issue, but Sling is aware of the problem and working on a solution.

Update: Sling TV has confirmed that the problem has now been resolved. As a result, all of the streaming and login errors should now be fixed as well.

Earlier today, subscribers started noticing that they were unable to log in to their account. While it remains to be seen whether the issue is affecting every subscriber, the problem does seem to be affecting all platforms. Essentially, if someone is struggling to log in on one device, they probably won’t be able to log in on others as well.

We are also currently seeing the issue which results in the loading screen continuously loading after signing in through the Sling website and/or an “Oops, there seems to be a technical error” message when accessing one of the apps. From our experience the issue only seems to affect logging in. In other words, if already signed in then there shouldn’t be any issues.

Sling is aware of the issue and appears to be currently working on a solution. A short time ago, Sling confirmed that it was “aware some customers may be experiencing difficulties streaming at this time.” Shortly afterwards, Sling confirmed that it is “actively working to resolve the streaming errors and login errors at this time.”

Once again, it remains unclear what is causing the problem, how widespread the issue is, or how long it will take to be fixed.
