If you’ve been considering subscribing to NFL+, now might be the time to sign up, as the football league’s streaming service is offering 20% off annual plans for a limited time.
While annual subscriptions do cost a lot more up front, they do tend to offer good savings over the course of a full year. In terms of NFL+, the cost of a standard subscription is now $6.99 a month, while those signing up to the Premium plan now pay $14.99 a month.
In comparison, when signing up for an annual plan, new subscribers can get the standard NFL+ subscription for $49.99 a year ($4.16/month on average), or an NFL+ Premium subscription for $99.99 a year ($8.33/month on average).
Right now, however, the NFL is offering an additional 20% discount on these annual plan prices. As a result, the standard NFL+ subscription can currently be picked up for just $39.99 a year ($3.33/month on average), or an NFL+ Premium subscription for just $79.99 a year ($6.66/month on average).
Even though the NFL season only runs for around 5 months of the year, which drastically changes the value of an annual subscription, it is worth keeping in mind that NFL+ got a major upgrade last week.
While subscribers have always got access to live local and primetime regular and postseason Games on mobile devices, all NFL+ subscribers now also get access to NFL Network as part of their subscription. What’s more, they can watch NFL Network on their TV or PC.
If opting for the more expensive Premium plan, subscribers not only get access to NFL Network, but also NFL RedZone as well. Just like with NFL RedZone, subscribers are free to watch NFL RedZone directly on their TVs and PCs.
If you’re already getting NFL Network and/or NFL RedZone with a live TV package, then their inclusion with NFL+ might not be all that useful. However, if you typically pay extra for these channels, having them bundled with NFL Plus is a good deal, and especially with 20% off the usual annual plan prices.
