The QVC+ and HSN+ streaming shopping service is now available on Vizio smart TVs, offering users live, on-demand and streaming-only content in a single, and fully shoppable, app.
There are already plenty of apps for Vizio TV users to make use of, including the company’s own WatchFree+ service. As WatchFree+ already provided access to QVC and HSN content, this latest development marks an expansion of the agreement between Vizio and Qurate Retail Group, the owner of QVC and HSN.
The difference with the arrival of the app is that Vizio TV users now also have the option of accessing a dedicated app where they will more easily find all of the live, on-demand and streaming-only content from QVC and HSN together in one place.
For Vizio TV owners now considering giving the new “QVC+ and HSN+ streaming experience” a try, the app brings together five linear QVC and HSN-branded broadcast channels, which collectively offer more than 50 hours of live vCommerce content each day.
In addition, the app also unlocks access to three digital-only linear channels, as well as more than 200+ original, streaming-only show episodes.
On top of the ability to watch live and on-demand content, the app comes with the ability to shop for products as well. Basically, it is possible to link a QVC or HSN account to the app and then order items, including choosing a size, color, etc., similar to how you would online or by phone.
As is often the case with the launch of new apps on Vizio’s platform, users can expect the QVC+ and HSN+ streaming app to be more prominently displayed on the home page over the next few weeks.
If using a different platform and interested in trying the QVC+ and HSN+ streaming shopping service, the app can also be downloaded on various Apple TV, Cox, Fire TV, Google TV, Roku, and Xfinity devices, as well as smart TVs by LG and Samsung.
