Philo channels October 2022

Philo has added another six channels to its lineup, five of which are free, ad-supported streaming TV (FAST) channels. The new additions come from AMC Networks, TV One and Weigel Broadcasting Company.

Here are the latest channels available on Philo.

  • AMC Networks
    • Overtime: Overtime is the leading brand for the next generation of sports fans. They tell the stories of today’s star athletes — and the stars of tomorrow – both on and off the court.
    • Scares by Shudder: Brace yourself for a good scare. Tune into endless, edge-of-your-seat programming with Scares by Shudder. Featuring a curated selection of horrors, thrillers, and the supernatural.
    • MSG SportsZone: Take a deeper dive into the players, personalities, teams, and sports you love. MSG SportsZone is the home for the sports super fan.
    • Growing Up Hip Hop WE tv: Family. Fame. Fortune. The next generation of hip hop royalty must overcome secrets and scandals on their way to glory and riches.
  • TV One
    • TV One Crime & Justice: Gripping original movies and series based on true stories ripped from the headlines.
  • Weigel Broadcasting Company
    • Dabl: A fresh and exciting television destination featuring audience-favorite African American comedies and characters. It’s all about family, friends, and having fun. With daily comedy blocks, Dabl is designed for extended viewing and maximum audience engagement. The exciting and hilarious lineup includes Girlfriends, Moesha, The Parkers, The Game, Sister, Sister, Half & Half, One on One, and more to come.

Of these six new channels, Dabl is the only paid channel and can be found under the All Channels section of the live guide. Overtime, Scares by Shudder, MSG SportsZone, Growing Up Hip Hop WE tv, and TV One Crime & Justice can all be found under the Free Channels section.

Following the relaunch of BBC News last month as a FAST channel, Philo has also confirmed that subscribers can now find BBC News listed under the Free Channels section of the live TV guide.

The latest additions come hot on the heels of another 16 FAST channels that were added to the lineup last month. The previous batch mostly came from A&E Networks and beIN Sports and spanned genres including true crime, reality, DIY and sports.

Philo also began rolling out a new Home screen experience in March, with the new design placing a much greater emphasis on featured programming.
