Peacock is now the major destination for Premier League live matches and highlights in the United States. While some Premier League games are still shown on NBC and USA, anyone wanting access to all EPL coverage during the season will need a Peacock subscription.

Since the launch of Peacock in early 2020, NBCUniversal has not only shifted all of the Premier League Pass games to the streaming service, but also a significant number of matches that would have typically been shown on NBCUniversal-owned channels like NBC and NBCSN.

In addition to all of the matches that are now available to stream live on Peacock, a subscription also unlocks access to plenty of additional Premier League content, including highlights, full-match replays, and additional programming.

Here’s an overview of streaming Premier League on Peacock, including the cost, how fixtures work, accessing on demand replays, and just generally getting started.

Premier League on Peacock cost

The first thing for Premier League fans to be aware of is the cost. Peacock offers two main plans for new subscribers to choose from, and both provide access to all of the live matches that are scheduled to be shown on the streaming service.

The cheapest option is Peacock’s Premium plan. Priced at $7.99 a month or $79.99 a year, many Premier League fans will find that the standard Peacock Premium subscription offers enough live matches and highlights each month.

  • NBC & Bravo Shows

If opting to pay annually for Peacock Premium, the $79.99 cost breaks down to around $6.65 a month. That said, as the soccer season is not year-round, some Premier League fans may find they save slightly more when subscribing on a monthly basis and canceling the subscription when the season ends.

Premier League on NBC on Peacock

If you already have access to your local NBC station, or are subscribed to a live TV plan that includes NBC, then you already can watch any of the Premier League matches that are due to be shown on the channel.

If you don’t currently have access to NBC, however, then it may be worth considering upgrading to the Peacock Premium Plus plan.

Priced at $13.99 a month or $139.99 a year, Premium Plus not only unlocks access to all of the Premier League matches due to be shown on Peacock, but access to the subscriber’s local NBC station as well, making it possible to watch any Premier League games that are due to air on NBC.

That said, most of the matches that are shown on NBC also tend to be available on Peacock at the same time, so some homes may find they don’t need to upgrade to Premium Plus. In addition, even though the Premium Plus plan is an ad-free plan, the ad-free benefits won’t apply when watching any Premier League live matches.

If opting to pay annually for Premium Plus, the $139.99 cost breaks down to around $11.65 a month. Once again, some soccer fans may find they save slightly more by paying monthly during the season, canceling the subscription at the end of the season, and signing back up when the next season starts.

Premier League on Peacock fixtures

The Premier League season typically takes place between August and May each year, and during that period, a total of 380 live matches take place. Peacock has continually been expanding the number of matches that are available to stream with a subscription, and while some still require a live TV plan, most don’t.

With a majority of games now available to stream through Peacock, fixtures for every team will be exclusively shown on the streaming service. As a result, a subscription will be necessary for fans wanting access to all of their team’s live matches and highlights during the season.

In terms of which fixtures are shown on Peacock, that’s something that’s typically only announced one or two weeks ahead of time. Generally speaking, subscribers are able to see which matches are available to watch within the app in the days before they are due to be played.

Premier League on Peacock replays

In addition to all of the live matches, one of the other major Premier League selling points for Peacock is the access to on demand full replays. While Peacock does offer access to a replay of every match played during the season, including those shown on USA Network, how soon they become available varies.

For example, while matches streamed live on Peacock and NBC are available for replay on Peacock shortly after the livestream ends, matches that are shown live on USA only become available for replay on Peacock the following day.

Premier League Replays can be found in the Premier League Hub within the Sports section of the Peacock app or website.

Premier league on Peacock — recap

A majority of the 380 Premier League matches that take place each season are now available to stream on Peacock, removing the need for a live TV plan. In fact, with many Premier League matches exclusively shown on Peacock, live TV subscribers will still need to consider signing up to Peacock to watch some games.

At $7.99 a month, the Premium plan offers the same Premier League content as the $13.99 a month Premium Plus plan, making it a better option for those that want to save on the cost.

While Premium Plus subscribers do also get access to their local NBC station, most games shown on NBC are usually also shown on Peacock at the same time.

Premier League replays are available for every match during the season, and to both Premium and Premium Plus subscribers. However, matches shown on USA Network won’t be available for replay until the following day.
