Paramount Global and Sinclair have agreed a new, multi-year distribution deal that covers 23 CBS affiliates. Of the 23 affiliates, 21 are stations owned by Sinclair while the other two (WTVH in Syracuse, NY and WGFL in Gainesville, FL) are stations that Sinclair provides services for.

The CBS affiliates covered by the new agreement are WRGB in Albany, NY; KEYE in Austin, TX; KBAK in Bakersfield, CA; KFDM in Beaumont, TX; KBOI in Boise, ID; KGAN in Cedar Rapids, IA; WKRC in Cincinnati, OH; KRCG in Columbia, MO; KDBC in El Paso, TX; KVAL in Eugene, OR; WGFL in Gainesville, FL; WWMT in Grand Rapids, MI; WHP in Harrisburg, PA; KTVL in Medford, OR; KTVO in Ottumwa, IA; WGME in Portland, ME; KHQA in Quincy, IL; KUTV in Salt Lake City, UT; KPTH in Sioux City, IA; WSBT in South Bend, IN; WTVH in Syracuse, NY; WPEC in West Palm Beach, FL; and KIMA in Yakima, WA.

According to the announcement, the 23 markets reach a combined total of 8% of the U.S. audience, covering around 10 million television households.

With this new agreement in place, subscribers to a live TV streaming service that already provides access to one of these CBS affiliates will continue to receive the same station locally.

Likewise, the announcement also confirms these Sinclair CBS affiliates will continue to remain available to those subscribed to the Paramount+ with Showtime plan.

In August, Nexstar and Sinclair agreed an extension of their current The CW Network affiliation partnership, and earlier this month, Sinclair announced it is launching The Nest on October 30. The Nest is a new free over-the-air national broadcast TV network launching as a replacement for Stadium.
