No Shudder Halloween Sale Yet, But Here’s How To Get a 30-Day Free Trial Right Now

With October now here, those looking to save on the cost of Shudder might be hoping for a Halloween sale or discount. While Shudder hasn’t announced one yet, it is possible to secure an extended 30-day free trial right now, covering you through Halloween.

Shudder is one of the more popular horror and thriller-themed streaming services around and Halloween is understandably a popular time for consumers to give the service a try. Shudder also tends to run a sale around this time of the year. Last Halloween, for example, Shudder was offering 31% of its annual plan, bringing the cost of a full year down to under $40.

While Shudder hasn’t announced a similar deal or promotion for Halloween 2023 yet, it is possible to get a 30-day free trial by signing up to Shudder and using either the HILLBILLY, HORRORHOUND or CAMPFIRE promo codes.

Having 30 days before making the first payment is a great option, and especially when considering the standard Shudder free trial only lasts 7 days. It is also now long enough to ensure you can binge all the horror you can handle on Halloween night. For those wanting to avoid paying for a subscription, they will need to remember to cancel before the extended free trial comes to an end.

For those considering remaining subscribed, the price of a Shudder subscription recently increased to $6.99 a month. Shudder also offers an annual plan for $71.88, which works out to be $5.99 a month on average.

All of the 30-day promo codes listed above can be used regardless of whether signing up to Shudder on a monthly or annual basis.

Some of the new and notable additions to Shudder in October include V/H/S/85 (10/6), The Last Drive In: Halloween 1978 (live on Shudder TV on 10/10), season 4 of Creepshow (10/13), The Puppetman (10/13), Night of the Hunted (10/20), Joe Bob’s Helloween (live on Shudder TV on 10/20), When Evil Lurks (10/27), Hell House LLC Origins: The Carmichael Manor (10/30), and season 5 of The Boulet Brothers’ Dragula (10/31).
