Nexstar Media Group and Fubo have reached a new agreement that covers a variety of Nexstar-owned local TV stations. The same agreement also ensures that NewsNation remains available to Fubo subscribers for the foreseeable future.
Specifically, the new multi-year distribution agreement covers 89 Nexstar-owned local TV stations affiliated with The CW Network, MyNetworkTV, ABC, and independents, including 37 CW Network affiliates, 25 MyNetworkTV affiliates, 23 ABC affiliates, and four independent television stations.
Nexstar has been agreeing a number of new deals recently. Back in September, Nexstar agreed a new distribution deal with DirecTV, bringing an end to a dispute that started in July and left subscribers without access to a number of channels. Even earlier in 2023, Nexstar agreed a new deal with Hulu, ensuring local channels and affiliates remained available to Hulu Live TV subscribers.
With Fubo having now been added to that renewed list, subscribers to this live TV service also won’t have to worry about losing access to any of the Nexstar-owned TV stations, affiliates and channels, including NewsNation, anytime soon.
Outside of the main live TV streaming services, Nexstar and Reach TV agreed a deal in October that will see The CW Network and NewsNation coming to more airports and hotels in the United States.
