A MrBeast game show is coming to Amazon Prime Video. Details on the ‘Beast Games’ project are still limited, but the YouTuber and Prime Video have both confirmed the new reality competition series will include 1,000 contestants and a single $5 million cash payout. According to Amazon, the cash prize “will be the biggest single prize in the history of television and streaming.”

Based on the existing YouTube show, the Beast Games series has yet to begin filming. However, it will be hosted by MrBeast and will premiere exclusively on Prime Video in more than 240 countries and territories worldwide.

MrBeast has captured the attention and imagination of fans of all ages, from all walks of life, and all over the world,” said Jennifer Salke, head of Amazon MGM Studios. “We are excited to work with Jimmy and his talented team to bring his brilliant, high production, and stakes-raising concepts to Beast Games for our global customers to experience.”

MrBeast also confirmed the news on X, stating “it’s gonna be an insane show.”

While MrBeast is already a very well-known and successful creator on YouTube, the YouTuber views the new series as a way to show how creators can make the switch to other platforms.

My goal is to make the greatest show possible and prove YouTubers and creators can succeed on other platforms,” said MrBeast, “Amazon gave me the creative control I need to try and make it happen. I hope to make the YouTube community proud.”

Currently there’s no firm date on when Prime Video users will be able to watch Beast Games but, according to MrBeast, more details on “the largest game show in history” will become available later this year.
