The new ‘Barbie and Friends’ FAST channel is now available on Samsung‘s free, ad-supported streaming service, Samsung TV Plus. Samsung and Mattel announced the channel was coming earlier this year, as part of a deal which will also see new ‘Hot Wheels Action’ and ‘Mattel Jr.’ FAST channels being added to the service as well.

For now, only the Barbie and Friends FAST channel has been added to Samsung TV Plus, making it the first Mattel FAST channel to go live on the service. Those interested in checking out what the channel has to offer can now find Barbie and Friends in the dedicated Kids section on the Home screen.

As explained earlier this year, the new Barbie and Friends FAST channel is home to Barbie and her best doll friends, with fashion, friendship and thrilling adventures taking center stage.

For those currently not using Samsung TV Plus, it is expected that Mattel will eventually launch free channels on other free streaming services and platforms as well. However, which channels, and when they will arrive, remains unknown.

Last month, Curiosity and Estrella announced they had partnered to bring a selection of Spanish-language FAST channels to Samsung TV Plus. Those free channels are expected to go live in the summer.

Samsung also recently confirmed that more live sports content was coming to the free service as well, including content from Major League Baseball, The PGA Tour, the American Hockey League, ONEChampionship and Formula 1.

As a reminder, Samsung TV Plus is currently only accessible through the website and/or through select Samsung smart TVs and Galaxy mobile devices.
