Allen Media Group has confirmed that its Local Now free, ad-supported streaming TV (FAST) channels are available on LG smart TVs through LG Channels. With a total of 223 FAST channels having been added to LG’s free streaming service, homes in most markets should now be able to access their local version of the channel.
Local Now offers viewers an opportunity to access free local news, weather and entertainment by bringing together news powered by the Local Now newsroom, a nationwide local affiliate network, and strategic news partners. Local Now also incorporates curated content from local news partners, including ABC, CBS, Fox and NBC.
For those that want to see what Local Now has to offer, it can be accessed on channel 157 on an LG Smart TV.

In total, LG Channels now offers access to more than 300 free channels spanning a variety of categories and genres, including movies, TV, breaking news, sports, and more. This is all in addition to a variety of on-demand content that’s available to stream at any time.
