The LIV Golf Plus app is now available on Roku devices as well as Samsung Smart TVs, and just in time for the LIV Golf season finale this weekend.
In addition to live video coverage of events from the LIV Golf League, the LIV Golf Plus app also offers access to exclusive live and on-demand videos. After first launching back in February, the app gained LG smart TV support in June.
As part of its latest supported device expansion, the LIV Golf Plus app has now gone live on the Roku and Samsung TV platforms. According to the information available, the app should be compatible with all Roku and Samsung models manufactured from 2019.
For reference, the LIV Golf Plus app is powered by ViewLift, and this is the same company who recently partnered with the Vegas Golden Knights to launch the new KnightTime+ streaming platform and subscription service.
“The LIV Golf Plus app enables golf fans to enjoy many of the world’s greatest golfers on key platforms. With this launch, the LIV Golf Plus app can now be enjoyed by households that own the world’s most popular Smart TV brand and North America’s top ad-supported streaming service, furthering LIV Golf’s consumer reach and monetization,” said Manik Bambha, President, ViewLift.
With the 2023 LIV Golf Team Championship taking place October 20-22 at Trump National Doral Golf Club in Miami, Roku and Samsung TV users now have the option of tuning in and watching live without having to worry about using another device. In addition to this weekend’s live action, Roku and Samsung TV users can also use the new app to catch up with replays and highlights from the full 2022-23 season.
Best of app, LIV Golf Plus app users get to enjoy all the live action and on-demand content for free.
