Hulu Live TV cost price

Hulu Live TV now costs $69.99 per month. While the price increase makes the live TV streaming service one of the more expensive options around, it does also result in some changes elsewhere to the plan. Due to this, some subscribers may actually find the service now offers even better than before.

Hulu Live TV originally launched back in 2017 and was priced at just $39.99 each month. Over time, the price has slowly creeped up with all of the various increases taking the total up to $64.99 per month in late 2020. At this price, Hulu Live TV cost exactly the same each month as YouTube TV and fuboTV, but that has now changed.

The cost of the standard Hulu Live TV subscription has risen to $69.99 per month as of December 21, 2021. The company previously made the announcement in November, so this shouldn’t come as a complete surprise to existing subscribers. Speaking of which, existing customers will see their monthly cost increase to $69.99 when their current billing cycle comes to an end. Subscribers can check when their individual billing cycle changes by visiting the Hulu website, logging in, and checking the ‘Upcoming Charges’ section of the Account menu. For those signing up to Hulu Live TV today or in the future, they will need to commit to paying $69.99 per month for access to live TV.

As to be expected, this increase also affects those that are on the ‘live TV’ only plan, as well as those bundling a live TV subscription with other services. Essentially, the ‘live TV only’ plan has now risen to $68.99 while the Hulu (No Ads) + Live TV plan now costs $75.99 each month.

For some subscribers, the change may actually prove beneficial as Hulu is now bundling Disney+ and ESPN+ with its live TV plan. For those subscribers that were previously paying for these additional subscriptions separately, the price change should actually result in a saving each month, However, for those simply wanting access to live TV through Hulu, this change does represent yet another increase and a higher monthly cost each month than before.
