Hulu Live TV has added MLB Network to its lineup, offering subscribers a way to watch more Major League Baseball games. The latest channel addition comes just in time for the start of MLB Opening Day.
Unlike some other live TV streaming services, Hulu only offers one base package. Priced at $76.99 a month, the base Hulu Live TV plan provides access to more than 95 channels. With MLB Network now included in that lineup, subscribers not only get access to live MLB games, but also pre-and-post-game shows, original programming and more.
In spite of the addition of MLB Network, Hulu hasn’t confirmed any change in price to the base plan and the website continues to list the price at $76.99 a month. While the website has yet to be updated to reflect the inclusion of MLB Network, both Hulu and MLB Network have confirmed the channel is available with Hulu Live TV’s base package beginning today.
Earlier today, Fubo announced that Yes Network had been added to its channel lineup, and at no additional cost. While Fubo also offers MLB Network, it is only available through the Fubo Extra add-on, which requires a subscription to the more expensive Elite plan.
Other than Fubo and Hulu, Sling TV and DirecTV Stream both also offer access to MLB Network. In Sling TV’s case, MLB Network is available through the Sports Extra add-on, which can be bundled with any base package. DirecTV Stream, on the other hand, offers MLB Network with its Choice and higher plans.
Notably missing from this list is YouTube TV. While YouTube TV did previously offer MLB Network as part of its base package, the channel was removed in early 2023 and has yet to return to the popular live TV streaming service.
