Hulu is adding local PBS, PBS kids, and Magnolia Network to its live TV service. In spite of now being announced, none of these channels have yet to become available through the live TV streaming service, with the first due to arrive later this month.

Hulu Live TV already offers pretty good value with a standard live TV package unlocking access to the basic Hulu catalog, Disney Plus, and ESPN Plus. This is in addition to a lineup of more than 85 live TV channels that collectively manages to strike a good balance between live news, sports, and entertainment.

Later in May, the channel lineup will grow once more with the addition of Magnolia Network. The channel is due to be added on May 25th, at which point Hulu Live TV subscribers will be able to tune in to the live channel or watch a number of popular Magnolia Network shows on demand.

When it comes to PBS, Hulu has yet to confirm exactly when the channels will become available. Instead, the announcement explains that the local PBS stations will arrive “in the coming months.” Along with the local channels, the arrival of PBS will also mark the arrival of PBS Kids, offering a selection of programming for younger viewers.

It is also worth noting that the same announcement confirmed that Hogar de HGTV is also now being added to Hulu’s live TV service. Unlike the other channels, however, it has been added to the Español add-on, which costs an additional $4.99 per month on top of the base package.

As a reminder, the Hulu Live TV base plan costs $69.99 per month, and none of these new channel additions are expected to result in a price increase.
