fuboTV supports a wide number of smart TVs, streaming players, and other devices. However, there are some limitations and especially when it comes to older devices. The older the smart TV or streaming player is, the less likely it will support fuboTV streaming.
fuboTV might not be as popular as Hulu Live or YouTube TV, but it is a service that has unique appeal. One of the major selling points of fuboTV is its emphasis on live sports with a wide variety of sports-focused channels and on-demand content available. As a result, fuboTV tends to appeal to those in need of more sports coverage, although the channel lineup has expanded recently, making the service suitable to even more consumers, and not just those looking for greater access to live sports.
When picking a live TV streaming service, there are a number of factors to keep in mind, with the price and channel selection two prime examples. However, there are additional factors that consumers will need to research and weigh up to ensure any live TV streaming service is right for their individual needs. Device support is one of those factors as there is little point signing up and paying a monthly fee (often in excess of $50) when the service is not compatible with the devices already in a home.
fuboTV supported smart TVs
fuboTV comes with a fairly good level of smart TV support, so long as a TV is powered by one of the major TV-optimized operating systems, such as Android TV, Fire TV, or Roku. Owners of a TV powered by any of these OSes can simply download the fuboTV app from their respective app store, either directly on the smart TV or through the web version of the app store.
For those looking to access fuboTV on a TV that’s not running on one of these platforms, they may find their TV support is currently not available. The one major exception to this is Samsung smart TVs, with the fuboTV app directly available to download from the Samsung Galaxy Store.
Another caveat in general is the age of the TV. Regardless of the operating system or brand, fuboTV is largely only available on TVs dating back to 2015. Furthermore, even older models that are supported may find they have limited functionality and features, compared to newer models.

fuboTV supported streaming players
Regardless of the compatibility of a smart TV, one of the easiest ways to add support is to make use of an additional device, such as a streaming player. These units range in price from cheap to expensive, but even many of the lower-cost options will provide the same fuboTV streaming experience.
Similar to the situation with smart TVs, most of the streaming player support comes down to the same major platforms: Amazon Fire TV, Android TV, and Roku.

fuboTV also stresses that only Roku models that are currently still receiving Roku OS update are supported.
Other fuboTV streaming options

fuboTV supported devices summary
fuboTV is not short on supported devices although the bulk of compatibility comes down to the major TV platforms, like Amazon Fire TV, Android TV, and Roku. Owners of a smart TV or streaming player running on any of these platforms should find their device is compatible with fuboTV, with the exception of some older models that either lack support completely or are supported, but with reduced functionality compared to newer models.
As is often the case with device support, the devices listed here are not final and are subject to change as the service expands its compatibility. Therefore, even those with currently unsupported devices may find that, given enough time, their smart TV, streaming player, or other devices, gain fuboTV compatibility.
