Fubo subscribers can stream on up to ten devices at the same time, so long as those devices are connected to the Home network. If streaming while away from home, the number of available simultaneous streams is greatly reduced.
Having access to as many same-time streams as possible has become an increasingly important feature for consumers and this has resulted in many services increasing the number of streams they offer. Fubo is no different, considering subscribers were previously only entitled to two concurrent streams with a base plan, along with the option to upgrade the number through the Family Share and Unlimited Screens add-ons.
Over time, Fubo slowly increased the number of streams available, with all of the current main packages (Pro, Elite and Premier) now including the Family Share and Unlimited Screens add-ons at no additional cost.
As a result, Pro, Elite and Premier (or Ultimate) subscribers can now stream on a maximum of ten devices at the same time while connected to the Home network.
Fubo Plan | Streams (Home) | Cost (p/m) |
---|---|---|
Pro | 10 | $79.99 |
Elite | 10 | $89.99 |
Premier/Ultimate | 10 | $99.99 |
If currently signed up to a legacy Fubo plan, it is possible that the number of available simultaneous streams could be as few as two.
Fubo Latino Subscribers Limited To 2 Streams
Unlike Fubo’s US-English plans, subscribers to the Latino plan can only stream on a maximum of two devices at the same time. However, those subscribers can still add the Family Share add-on to their live TV package for an additional $5.99 a month to increase the number of streams to three.
Alternatively, Latino subscribers can choose to add the Unlimited Screens add-on for an additional $9.99 a month, unlocking access to as many as ten streams at the same time when connected to the home network.
Add-on | Streams (Max) | Cost (p/m) |
---|---|---|
Family Share | 3 | $5.99 |
Unlimited Screens | 10 | $9.99 |
3 Fubo Streams When Away From Home
As mentioned, Fubo greatly reduces the number of devices that can access the service at the same time when streaming outside the Home network. This limitation drops the number of simultaneous streams down to just three.
In addition to the quantity limitation, Fubo also mainly reserves these out-of-network streams for accessing the service on mobile devices and through web browsers.
Fubo subscribers can stream on a living room device, such as a smart TV or streaming player, outside the Home network. In fact, Fubo subscribers can access the service on a living room device in any location. However, Fubo only allows living room devices to access the service from a single location at any one time.
In other words, if accessing Fubo on a living room device outside of the Home network, Fubo subscribers are likely to find they cannot also access Fubo on any living room devices that are connected to the Home network.
Similar to the general number of streams, Latino subscribers are also limited to just two screens when away from home. However, they can unlock access to an additional away-from-home stream (taking the total to three) by adding the $5.99/month Family Share add-on to their package.
Fubo’s 10 Streams Are Actually 13 Streams
Technically, the maximum number of streams that a Pro, Elite or Premier (or Ultimate) subscriber has access to can be as high as thirteen. The reason for this is that the three additional away-from-home streams are on top of the ten at-home streams.
It is just all thirteen cannot be used to stream Fubo at the same time from the same location. As Fubo also differentiates between device types when away from home, the maximum thirteen streams can only be achieved when using mobile devices and web browsers away from home while also streaming on up to ten devices at home.
Again, for Latino subscribers to gain access to the maximum thirteen streams, they will need both the Family Share and Unlimited Screens add-ons, increasing the cost by as much as $15.98 a month.
