fuboTV can now be downloaded and streamed on Microsoft’s Xbox One, Xbox One S, and the Xbox One X. This marks an additional route for those looking to access live TV streaming through fuboTV with the app now available to download from the Microsoft Store.

fuboTV is one of the current main options for streaming live TV over the internet. With live TV plans starting at $54.99 per month, the cost of a fuboTV subscription is similar in price to AT&T TV NOW, Hulu live and YouTube TV. However, fuboTV does come with an added emphasis on live sports, making it a good choice for those looking for greater sports coverage from their live TV subscription.

fuboTV confirmed the newly-added Xbox One support on social media while tying the announcement in with its core selling point – sports. For example, the Twitter post announcing the games console’s compatibility explained how the support is arriving just in time for the restart of the English Premier League and La Liga.

Both European soccer leagues had to suspend their season due to the COVID-19 outbreak, although both are now preparing to resume again. La Liga officially kicks-off on June 11, while the EPL will resume play on June 17.

Another option for streaming fuboTV

While many have noted how HBO Max currently doesn’t support either Amazon or Roku’s line of streaming devices, that’s not a problem for fuboTV with the service compatible with pretty much every Fire TV player and smart TV, and the same is true for Roku’s line of devices. In fact, fuboTV is pretty well supported in general with Android TV, Apple TV, Android and iOS smartphones and tablets, and browser support all on offer as well.

If anything, the one area where fuboTV was still lacking in support was in the games console department with no support for PlayStation or Xbox devices. While PlayStation support still remains absent, the new Xbox One support officially sees fuboTV as now available on a gaming machine.

For those who want to start streaming as soon as possible, the fuboTV app is already listed on the Microsoft Store, along with Sling TV and YouTube TV – the other live TV streaming services currently available to Xbox One owners.
