Fubo Channels: Pro, Elite & Premier Plans Compared

A Fubo base plan provides access to as many as 260 live TV channels. However, the exact number a subscriber gets will depend on whether they are signed up to Pro, Elite or Premier.

At the cheaper end, the Pro plan costs $79.99 a month. For those looking for a richer channel lineup, the Elite plan costs $89.99 a month and the Premier plan costs $99.99 a month. It is worth noting that Fubo charges an RSN fee in most locations, so the minimum monthly price of any of these plans could be up to $15 more.

In terms of the channels, Fubo has always placed an emphasis on sports, and although that’s still the case today, the channel lineup has evolved over the years to offer more news and entertainment channels as well.

Pro, Elite and Premier channels compared

Officially, the Pro plan provides access to more than 180 channels, while the Elite plan increases the number to more than 250. If opting for the Premier plan, the number of channels increases to 260. While that sounds like a lot, and it is, all of these plans include multiple beIN Sports, Fubo Radio and TUDN channels. If less interested in sports or radio channels, the selection is going be more limited.

Here’s a closer look at how the channel lineups of all three Fubo plans compare.

Basically, the Elite plan not only includes every channel available with the Pro plan, but also all of the channels available with the Fubo Extra and News Plus add-ons. Likewise, the Premier plan includes all of the channels included with Pro, as well as the Fubo Extra and News Plus add-ons, and also all of the Paramount+ with Showtime and additional Showtime channels.

Pro, Elite and Premier more similar than different

The Pro, Elite and Premier plans mainly differ in terms of the included add-ons. For example, if you added the Fubo Extra, News Plus and Paramount+ with Showtime add-ons to Pro then you would end up with the Premier plan. However, the price will likely work out slightly higher than simply opting for the Premier plan.

In the past, Fubo’s plans did differ through other features, including the DVR and the number of devices that can be used at the same time, but that’s no longer the case. Today, all Pro, Elite and Premier subscribers get access to a 1000-hour cloud DVR (soon to be unlimited) as well as the ability to stream on up to ten devices at the same time (when connected to the home network).

Choosing between Pro, Elite and Premier

While Fubo offers three plans to choose from, they are more similar than different. For those still unsure of which plan is the right one for them, choosing can be boiled down to the following two questions:

• Do you want more news and sports?
• Do you want Paramount+ with Showtime?

If you don’t want access to news and sports beyond what’s included with the base plan, there is no reason to upgrade to Elite. In this situation, the Pro plan is likely to be the best (and cheapest) option.

If you don’t want access to Paramount+ with Showtime, or already have a standalone Paramount+ subscription that you want to maintain, then there is no point in upgrading to the most expensive Premier plan. Once again, Pro is going to be the best (and cheapest) option in this case, unless you want access to the additional news and sports offered with Elite.

If none of the channel lineups above suit your needs, then Fubo might not be the right service for you. In this case, it is probably worth considering DirecTV Stream, Hulu Live TV, Sling TV or YouTube TV instead.
