Fubo Prices: How Much The Pro, Elite And Premier Plans Cost

Fubo currently offers three different base plans with the minimum cost ranging from $79.99 to $99.99 a month. However, the exact price a consumer pays each month will be determined by the channels, 4K, and whether they live in an area where an RSN fee applies.

The live TV service also offers a Latino plan. While priced at just $33 a month, the Latino plan is specifically focused on Spanish-language TV, making it a very different product to the other Fubo base plans.

In terms of the main base plans, and even without adding any extras, the cost of a Fubo base package could be as much as $116 a month.

Pro Is Fubo’s Cheapest Base Plan

Fubo’s cheapest live TV package is Pro. Priced at $79.99 a month, Pro offers access to more than 190 channels along with the option to stream on up to 10 devices at the same time — providing those devices are connected to the home network. All Pro plan subscribers also get access to an unlimited DVR for recordings.

When compared to the rest of the market, Fubo is at the higher end, along with DirecTV Stream and Hulu Live TV. For example, YouTube TV is slightly cheaper at $72.99 a month, Sling TV’s plans cost almost half as much as Fubo, and Philo’s live TV plan is even cheaper at just $28 a month.

Hulu Live TVFrom $77/mo
YouTube TV$73/mo

If set on Fubo, the Pro plan is likely to be more than enough for most homes. The number of channels, streams, and DVR are comparable to other popular streaming services, including Hulu Live TV and YouTube TV. However, the Pro plan doesn’t include any 4K channels or content. If 4K is important, the choice can be narrowed down to Elite and Premier.

RSN Fee: The Pro plan price listed above is the base cost. In areas where Fubo offers subscribers access to regional sports networks, Fubo charges an additional RSN fee. This fee can add as much as $16 to the base price and is a non-optional charge in areas where it is applied.

Choosing Between Elite And Premier

Both the Elite and Premier plans come with everything included in Pro. In addition, both also include access to the fubo Extra and News Plus add-ons, adding another 70+ channels in the process. Both also provide access to the same selection of 4K channels.

As a result, the two more expensive plans mainly differ in terms of premium networks. Specifically, Paramount+ with Showtime.

The Premier plan adds that little bit of extra value through the inclusion of Paramount+ with Showtime. Considering a standalone Paramount+ with Showtime subscription cost $10.99 a month through Fubo, adding it to the cheaper Elite plan takes the price up to around $101 a month.

Whether saving $1 each month is enough to consider upgrading to Premier is debatable, but it is technically the cheaper option. If not interested in Paramount+ with Showtime content, or already subscribed directly, then there is no real reason to consider the Premier plan over the cheaper Elite package.

RSN Fee: Similar to the Pro package, both the Elite and Premier plans are subject to an RSN fee in areas where RSNs are available, potentially adding up to $16 more each month to the cost.

Don’t Forget About The RSN Fee

As mentioned, Fubo now charges an RSN fee on top of the cost of its base plans. Considering Fubo doesn’t charge this fee in every single location, it is not by default included in the price. Instead, new subscribers only see the additional fee after selecting a plan and attempting to pay for the subscription.

In spite of not being offered everywhere, the RSN fee is applied in most locations, and this means most subscribers will need to factor in the additional cost.

In areas where only one regional sports network is available, Fubo subscribers pay an additional $11.99 a month. In areas where more than one RSN is available, subscribers pay an additional $14.99 a month. The only exception here is areas where Yes Network is available, as this sports network increases the RSN fee to $15.99 a month.

When factoring in the additional RSN fee, the very cheapest price a new subscriber pays when signing up to Fubo (in an RSN area) is $91.98 a month for the Pro plan. If signing up to the most expensive Premier plan in an RSN area, the minimum price is currently $111.98 a month.
