The Fubo app is now available to download and use on Apple Vision Pro headsets, offering subscribers another way to access the live TV streaming service.
Earlier this year, and prior to the launch of Vision Pro, Apple confirmed a number of streaming services would offer support for the headset, including Fubo. However, no mention of when support for any of these individual services would go live was provided at the time.
From what we can tell, the app appears to have officially become available on Monday. One of the reasons we suspect this is that the updated App Store listing states Fubo requires Vision Pro headsets to be running visionOS 1.2 at a minimum. visionOS 1.2 was released on June 10, following Apple’s WWDC 2024 event, which also saw the latest version of tvOS being announced.
Interestingly, Fubo has yet to update its supported devices help page to include Vision Pro as a compatible device. Considering the device is now supported, we do expect the help page to be updated soon enough.
In terms of other streaming apps, Apple previously confirmed Amazon Prime Video, Crunchyroll, Discovery+, Disney+, ESPN, IMAX, Max, MLB, Mubi, Paramount+, Peacock, PGA Tour, Pluto TV, Tubi, Red Bull TV and TikTok were all coming to Vision Pro.
Following the arrival of Fubo support, the live TV streaming service now joins the ranks of Crunchyroll, Disney+, IMAX, Max, MLB, Mubi, Paramount+, Pluto TV, Red Bull TV and TikTok, all of which were already available to download on Apple’s headset.
