Fubo has agreed a new distribution deal to make Mid-Atlantic Sports Network (MASN) available to its subscribers. As MASN is a regional sports network, only subscribers living in the designated area will be able to access the channel once it is added.

While Fubo hasn’t specified if the regional sports network has been added already, the live TV streaming service did make clear that MASN will be available in time for Major League Baseball Opening Day, which is March 28, 2024.

Once the channel is added, Fubo subscribers across a seven-state region will be able to stream every available game of both the Baltimore Orioles and Washington Nationals. This is in addition to pre-and-post-game shows, and NCAA Division I men’s and women’s sports.

Fubo is proud to be the home for local sports and the addition of MASN will bring Baltimore Orioles and Washington Nationals fans even more access to their favorite teams for the 2024 MLB season,” said Todd Mathers, senior vice president, content strategy and acquisition, Fubo. “We look forward to expanding baseball coverage across the mid-Atlantic region with Fubo’s leading MLB offering.”

For those new to Fubo, the live TV streaming service comes with an added emphasis on live sports. However, that emphasis does also result in a regional sports fee being added to the price of its plans. The exact cost of the RSN fee depends on the area and how many RSNs are available in that location, but it can potentially add as much as $15 to the monthly cost.

Speaking of which, Fubo is currently running a promotion which reduces the cost of the first month by $20, taking the price of its cheapest ‘Pro’ plan down to as little as $59.99.
