Frontier is now allowing customers the option to bundle YouTube TV with their internet package and only pay a single bill each month. While this doesn’t usually result in a cheaper bill, Frontier customers can actually save each month for the first 12 months. Not to mention, the integrated billing is a more convenient solution in general.
The ability to sign up to YouTube TV as a Frontier customer is not new considering the telecommunications company first announced it had partnered with Google’s live TV streaming service back in 2021. However, the two companies have now improved on that partnership through the introduction of a single billing option.
Going forward, Frontier customers will be able to add YouTube TV to their Frontier package and only pay the one bill each month. The expanded partnership announcement suggested that Frontier’s customers “can save $400 or more on their favorite channels in their first year vs. cable by making the switch.” According to John Harrobin, Frontier’s Executive Vice President of Consumer, the company’s “partnership with YouTube TV makes it easier for customers to ditch cable.”
To further help Frontier customers transition over to YouTube TV, Frontier is also offering its customers some unique savings on the cost of YouTube TV. For example, Frontier’s fiber internet customers are eligible for a $10 per month discount for 12 months while existing Frontier TV customers can get $15 off each month for the first 12 months.
Considering the cost of a standard YouTube TV subscription is $72.99 per month, these Frontier special offers could reduce the cost down to as low as $57.99 per month for the first 12 months.
YouTube TV recently increased the price of its live TV plan by $8, taking the total up from $64.99 to $72.99 per month. With these savings, Frontier customers have the ability to effectively undo that price increase altogether.
