Any homes looking for a low-cost live TV plan might want to consider taking a look at FreeCast, especially considering the streaming service is currently offering an annual plan which greatly reduces the cost over the course of 12 months.

As the name suggests, FreeCast is primarily focused on providing access to free linear channels and content. In this sense, it is similar to the likes of Pluto TV and Tubi. However, FreeCast also offers a Value Channels package that unlocks access to a selection of paid channels.

FreeCast originally launched its Value Channels package back in 2022. Ever since then, the standard cost of a subscription has remained at $6.99 per month. Right now, however, FreeCast is offering users the option to sign up to its Value Channels bundle on an annual basis and only pay $30 for the entire year.

To put this price into perspective, $30 for 12 months breaks down to around $2.50 per month, a saving of around $4.50 for each month. Of course, an annual plan is only worth signing up for if you know you are going to want to remain subscribed for the entire year.

On that note, FreeCast’s Value Channels package includes the following channels:

  • AXS TV
  • BabyFirst TV
  • Cowboy Channel
  • Family Movie Classics
  • FETV
  • Game Show Network
  • GET TV
  • HDNet Movies
  • INSP
  • Outdoor Channel
  • QVC
  • Reelz
  • RFD TV
  • Sony Movies
  • Sportsman Channel
  • UPtv
  • WeatherNation
  • World Fishing Network

In addition to the channels listed above, Value Channels subscribers also get access to an unlimited cloud DVR, making it possible to record content to watch later.

This is a very skinny bundle in reality and the lineup won’t suit everyone. However, for those that do want a low-cost plan that provides access to Reelz and/or the Cowboy Channel, FreeCast’s limited-time $30 annual plan might be worth considering.
