Fox Weather is now available on TCLtv+, TCL’s in-house streaming service that’s available on a number of smart TVs in North America.
The announcement actually confirmed Fox Weather is now available on both Hulu Live TV and TCLtv+. However, Streaming Better had already reported on the addition of Fox’s weather channel to Hulu Live TV’s base channel lineup.
What was unclear at the time is that the latest expansion also includes TCLtv+. TCL launched TCLtv+ in August 2023 as a first-party streaming service. At launch, TCLtv+ arrived with access to more than 200 FAST channels and 1500+ on-demand movies and TV series.
Now adding to that list is Fox Weather. Similar to Hulu Live TV, Fox Weather was officially added to TCLtv+ yesterday (Feb. 13), so users should already be able to find and begin streaming the channel through the news and opinion category in the TCLtv+ app.
“As the fastest growing weather service, we are excited to further expand our platform, bringing Hulu + Live TV and TCLtv+ audiences FOX Weather’s premium live weather news programming,” said Fox’s Sharri Berg.
According to the announcement, TCLtv+ has now grown to offer access to more than 300 FAST channels, 100 more than was initially available at launch.
For those without access to either Hulu Live TV or TCLtv+, Fox Weather can be accessed on a number of other free platforms and services, including Fire TV Channels, LG Channels, Samsung TV Plus, Sling Freestream, The Roku Channel, Vizio Watchfree+, and Xumo Play.
The Fox Weather channel is also available as part of paid live TV plans offered by various providers, including DirecTV Stream, Fubo, and YouTube TV.
