Prime Video Channels users can currently save 50 percent on the cost of an Epix, Showtime or Starz subscription for up to six months. With three streaming services all seeing decent discounts on the cost of their subscriptions, these deals could be a good way for consumers to test each or all of them out, and over a longer period of time.

Epix provides access to a wide selection of shows and movies with a subscription typically costing $5.99 per month. Starz also offers the ability to watch many popular shows and movies with its subscription usually priced at $8.99 per month. At $10.99 per month (and unless bundled with Paramount+, Showtime is the most expensive of the three streaming services. However, it can be a useful subscription for those that want access to content only available through the service.

Right now, the cost of all three of these streaming services is being heavily discounted when signing up through Amazon’s Prime Video Channels. The best savings are on Showtime with the cost having been reduced from $10.99 to $5.49 per month. Those opting for Starz will also save with the subscription currently priced at $4.49 per month. If opting for Epix, then the savings are less substantial in dollars, with the cost reduced down from $5.99 to $2.99 per month. Essentially, all three have been reduced in price by 50 percent for a limited time and the discount applies each month for up to six months.

All three deals are only available up until September 26, 2021. One of the benefits of opting to subscribe to a streaming service through Prime Video Channels is the ability to access the shows and movies included with a subscription through the Prime Video interface and apps. If subscribing to all three discounted services, then this might prove additionally beneficial, considering they can all be accessed through the single interface without having to download and switch between three different apps.

It is worth keeping in mind that any subscriptions created through Prime Video Channels are also managed by Amazon in general. In other words, subscribers will need to cancel any or all of the subscriptions through Amazon and not the individual services. This will be all the more important for individuals and households that don’t plan on remaining subscribed once the discounted six-month period comes to an end.
