Discovery+ provides access to a variety of networks under one subscription, including Animal Planet, Discovery Channel, Food Network, HGTV, ID and more. With so many different networks included, Discovery+ is able to cater to a number of different users at the same time. Whether looking for lifestyle, home improvement, food, adventure, survival, or true crime shows, Discovery+ has the networks.
Discovery+ launched in January 2020 and there are two plan options to choose from. The first is the $4.99 plan which provides access to all of the content available through Discovery+, although it does includes ads. The second option is the $6.99 plan which includes all of the same content, but without ads. As a result, the only choice to be made is whether the individual is willing to watch commercials or pay more to remove them.
In terms of what you get in return for that monthly subscription all of the networks included are mostly ones owned by Discovery Inc. Due to this, the network list below is unlikely to change significantly over time.

Discovery+ network limitations
Although Discovery+ includes all the networks listed above, that’s not to say every show and episode associated with any of the networks is automatically available with a subscription. Officially, Discovery+ states a subscription provides access to more than 2,500 current and classic shows, resulting in more than 55,000 episodes available to stream.
While the network lineup is unlikely to change, subscribers may find that the shows available to stream do vary over time. This is not only in terms of new shows and episodes being added, but also which older shows are available at any point in time.
Besides the popular shows many will already be familiar with, Discovery+ also includes a number of exclusives and Originals. Although some of these will be associated and branded as specific network shows, they are currently only available with a Discovery+ subscription.
Discovery+ also does include access to some shows from other networks and channels. For example, subscribers will find they have access to a selection of natural history videos from the BBC. In addition to shows associated with other online brands, such as The Dodo, PopSugar and Now This.
Discovery+ networks summary
Overall, Discovery+ includes a good selection of popular Discovery networks, including HGTV, Food Network, ID, Animal Planet and more. This is in addition to some shows and videos from other channels and networks, such as the BBC. The overall choice of networks makes Discovery+ a great option for busy households, as the different genre of networks are likely to appeal to different viewers.
However, the Discovery+ subscription does not provide unlimited access to all of the shows available on any of the individual networks. Instead, the subscription includes a selection of shows from each network, with the shows and episodes expected to vary over time.
