The CW Network has confirmed that it will become home to 50 ACC college football and basketball games beginning this year and each season through 2026-2027.

The Atlantic Coast Conference is now in its 71st year of competition and includes 15 members. In 2019, the ACC Network (ACCN) was launched as a partnership between the ACC and ESPN, offering a 24/7 national network dedicated to ACC sports and original programming.

Starting this fall, 13 Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) college football games will be available to watch on The CW Network. Games will air every Saturday throughout the season with the first taking place Saturday, September 9 when the Pitt Panthers take on non-conference Cincinnati Bearcats.

In addition to the ACC football games, The CW will also broadcast 28 men’s basketball games and nine women’s basketball games. Fans will be able to catch these games in December, January and February, with men’s basketball doubleheaders every Saturday afternoon and women’s basketball games on Sunday afternoons.

We are committed to making The CW a destination for live, appointment-viewing sporting events,” said Dennis Miller, President, The CW Network. “The ACC is home to some of the most decorated college football and basketball teams in the country and we look forward to welcoming these avid sports fans to the network as we continue to broaden our audience.”

According to the announcement, The CW acquired the rights from Raycom Sports who sublicenses the rights from ESPN. Raycom Sports will produce all of the games for The CW.
