Cinedigm’s Cineverse Adds Option To Rent New Movies

Cinedigm’s Cineverse streaming service has now added the option for subscribers to rent new movies. The new feature has been made possible through the recent integration of ROW8, a separate service that offers access to the latest Hollywood movies before they arrive on subscription streaming services.

Compared to many other streaming services, Cinedigm’s Cineverse is fairly new. Officially, the service only launched in September of 2022. However, Cinedigm appears to have big plans for the enthusiast-focused service, including focusing on new features and building out an extensive library.

The integration of ROW8 seems to fit both of those points perfectly as Cineverse subscribers have now gained access to a greater variety of content, especially newer movies, that can be rented through the Cineverse website. Similar to other digital movie stores, movies are available for 30 days after renting but only 48 hours after starting.

For reference, the integration or ROW8 not only makes it possible to watch new-to-rent movies, but also many that are either still in their theatrical run or have yet to become available to rent.

Examples of some of the movies that are now available include Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, Puss in Boots: The Last Wish, Babylon, Plane and M3GAN.

In addition to confirming that 2,000+ titles from various studios will be available to rent, Cinedigm also explained that its own theatrical releases will also be distributed on Cineverse via ROW8.

Any of the movies that are now available to rent can be found by scrolling through the new ROW8 row on the home screen, clicking on the In Theaters tab at the top, or by using Cineverse’s search function.
