The Chromecast with Google TV is back on sale. With the price having dropped down to as low as $19.99, this is a good opportunity to pick up a popular streaming player at a lower price than usual.

Google offers two different versions of its Chromecast with Google TV streaming player. The first is the HD version which, as the name suggests, caps the maximum resolution at 1080p. For those willing to pay a little more for a higher resolution, there’s the 4K version.

While the Chromecast with Google TV (HD) is typically priced at $29.99, it is currently on sale for just $19.99 through the Google Store, resulting in a $10 saving. Likewise, the Chromecast with Google TV (4K) also currently comes with $10 discount, taking the cost down from $49.99 to $39.99.

This is a limited time deal and only available this week. The discounts officially went live yesterday (October 29) and the lower prices are due to remain available through November 5, 2023.

For reference, the Chromecast with Google TV HD and 4K models are available to buy at the lower prices from a number of different retailers. For example, Best Buy and Target are also currently offering the option to save $10 when purchasing a Chromecast with Google TV.

One of the additional benefits of purchasing through Best Buy is that the Chromecast with Google TV also comes with the option to redeem three months of Apple TV+, three months of YouTube Premium, or 30 days of Fubo for free.

In addition to the maximum resolution, there is also a difference in the choice of colors. While both the HD and 4K models are available in Snow, the 4K model can also be purchased in Sky or Sunrise. However, those wanting to buy either of these alternate colorways will need to purchase directly through the Google Store.

Resolution and color aside, buyers can largely expect a similar experience regardless of which model they buy, including access to all of the features available with Google TV.
