A new agreement between Mattel and A Parent Media Co. Inc. brings a number of additional Mattel Television Studios series to the free Kidoodle TV service, including Barbie, Hot Wheels and Thomas & Friends.
The “safe streaming” service is already packed with content, boasting access to more than 45,000 episodes from some of the world’s biggest brands. Thanks to the new agreement, the library will now be home to even more kid-friendly programming.
Some series under the new agreememt have already gone live on Kidoodle TV, including Barbie: Vlogger Series, Barbie: Dream Vacation, Ultimate Dream Vacation, Hot Wheels City and Thomas & Friends: The Great Bubbly Build Special, with additional series expected to be added in the fall.
In addition to streaming on Kidoodle TV, the agreement will also see select Mattel titles becoming available to watch on Kidoodle TV’s FAST channels on Samsung TV Plus, VIDAA and Vizio WatchFree+.
“Mattel Television Studios’ mission to bring our iconic franchise IP to global audiences through innovative, inspiring, and entertaining series that reflect the diverse and inclusive world, and our partnership with Kidoodle.TV is a prime example of that,” said Michelle Mendelovitz, Global Head of Mattel Television Studios. “We’re excited to expand kids’ and families’ access to our expansive content library, fostering greater discovery of our cherished characters and brands.”
Earlier this year, an agreement between Mattel and Samsung saw the launch of a new Barbie and Friends FAST channel on Samsung TV Plus. Under the same agreement, new Hot Wheels Action and Mattel Jr. FAST channels are also due to be added to Samsung’s free streaming service as well.
