AsianCrush and RetroCrush are now available on Comcast Xfinity and Xumo streaming devices. Xfinity X1, Xfinity Flex, Xumo Stream Box and Xumo TV users can access either app by voice-searching for the app or locating it in the Apps menu.
While both services offer a free tier, both also offer a Premium paid plan that removes the ads and unlocks access to the full library. Regardless of whether signing up to AsianCrush Premium or RetroCrush Premium, a subscription costs $4.99 a month or $49.99 a year.
AsianCrush and RetroCrush are both owned by Cineverse, and join a selection of SVOD channels that were already available on Xfinity and Xumo devices, including Docurama, Dove Channel, Fandor, Midnight Pulp, and Screambox
“We have thoroughly enjoyed being part of Comcast’s innovative mission to deliver the world’s best content with ease to their customers,” said John Stack, Senior Director of Business Development at Cineverse. “And in that spirit, we’re so excited to offer AsianCrush and RetroCrush to a new enthusiast audience on Xfinity.”
For those new to these services, AsianCrush is dedicated to bringing viewers the best of pan-Asian entertainment, including Korean dramas and anime. RetroCrush, on the other hand, is dedicated to the Golden Age of anime and provides access to a wide selection of classic anime titles.
