Prime Video 50 off deal

Amazon is currently offering new users the option to save 50% on the cost of an AMC Plus or Paramount Plus subscription through Prime Video. This promotion applies to the first two months, making it a good way for new subscribers to see what these services have to offer at half the usual cost.

As part of this promotion, AMC Plus is down to $4.49 a month for the first two months. The normal cost of AMC Plus through Prime Video (or when signing up directly) is $8.99 per month, resulting in a saving of $4.49 each month.

For reference, an AMC Plus subscription not only unlocks access to content from AMC, but also from BBC America, IFC Films Unlimited, Shudder, and Sundance Now as well.

If you’re more interested in Paramount content, this latest Prime Video promotion reduces the cost of Paramount Plus down to just $5.99 per month. Paramount Plus recently increased its prices and this deal is specifically for the ad-free Paramount+ with Showtime plan, which typically costs $11.99 per month through Prime Video (or when signing up directly).

As the name suggests, this is the new Paramount and Showtime bundled plan which unlocks access to Showtime shows, movies, and exclusives, in addition to the usual Paramount Plus library.

As these 50% off subscription deals are part of Amazon’s Prime Day 2023 celebrations, the discounted prices are due to remain available through July 12, 2023.

If not interested in either of these services, or not at these prices, it is also worth noting that Prime Video is currently running a separate promotion that reduces the cost of various streaming subscriptions down to just 99 cents for the first two months.

Some of the services that have been discounted as part of Prime Video’s current 99 cents sale include Acorn TV (usually $6.99 per month), BritBox (usually $7.99 per month), Cinemax (usually $9.99 per month), and Starz (usually $9.99 per month), among others.
